NEW MUSEUM VISIT

The David Goldblatt exhibit was really impressive if only because of the amount of work he had. I also liked his presentation- some of the photos were just held up by paperclips, which was very simple and clean. His compositions were lovely, especially in the landscapes.
I was surprised when I saw that the  Emory Douglas prints were lithographs, because I've never seem lithographs look so smooth and clean like that. I don't know much about the process, but they usually look more expressive- like drawings.
I appreciated Dorothy Iannone's use of cut outs, but I found her focus on sex kind of cliche.
But I have to say that my favorite part was the balcony on top that looked over the city.
